I have a Xbox right now but i am thinking about switching to Ps3 so i can get MLB The Show. I know what some people might think switching Xbox for ps3 for one game? Well Ps3 has a lot of the same games Xbox does so i really won't be missing out on much. (Besides Halo 4) but other then that Ps3 has some great Ps3 only games. But i don't know yet if i want to keep my xbox or go to ps3.. What do you guys think?

Ps3. the show is the best looking sports game I've played and add uncharted 3 as the best overall looking game plus kill zone, twisted metal, and later releases like the last of us and beyond two souls and playstation is easy choice IMO.

I am really thinking about switching back to Ps3. I had one before. Played MLB the Show 10 i think it was. Great game. KillZone 2 witch was a great game as well. Seems to me Ps3 has a lot of games with great story lines which i like. So chances are later next week i will be going back to Ps3. Hopefully.

I have both and love my playstation of course there's negatives. Slower load times minor graphic differences on cross platform games online isn't as good. But the exclusives are gorgeous. I
Essentially bought mine for the show too lol and turned out to be a great decision. Even more so now that 2k and xbox won't have a baseball game next year!

honestly? you really don't want to rely on user comments for purchasing a PS3 or otherwise...
i myself own both systems and to be honest the online to me(not sure to everyone else) is practically the same.. i have a great online experience on both platforms..but again for you to determine which is best for you look up user reviews on the sites for major electronics..
when i was going to buy my x-box so many people told me the bad so i held off on buying one..but eventually i researched it myself and found the 360 to be nice.. i actually prefer my PS3 and mainly because at any point in time I've owned a Sony game system. i would suggest you try getting a PS3 also

I too have both, and they have their pros and cons. The PS3 definitely has some of the best exclusives but if you can afford it, keep your xbox for it's online gaming. The interaction you have with other players is far better than what you'll experience on PS3.

I have both and I will say that besides the show Xbox is a much better system to play for sports games. Better controller in my opinion. And online experience is a much better on 360. If your looking for the exclusives however you have to go PS3. Lastly if you like soccer gaming PES on PS3 is the only way to go. You can import image files and make much better kit edits. A quick comparison, I have NBA 2K12 on both systems, don't touch the PS3 one just because the controls on 360 are much more "tighter" on the 360. They seem too loose on the PS3.

2k and Ea really dropped the ball on PS3...games look terrible compared to counterparts on 360. Also, no one really talks about this, but the Show (my fav. sports game this gen) is a PS3-destroyer...at least for the 1st models. I got YLOD running the Show 09. It's better on the slims, but you can really hear the PS3 chugging when the Show is in the tray. I won't even speculate on why the system makes so much noise and gets hot after playing the Show (and yes, this is even after using the optional install on hard drive).
If you can live without The Show (or other PS3 exclusives), don't mind paying for online features and don't need your gaming system to be a Blu-ray player, stick with the 360.
But if you just have to get a PS3 - 1.) get it somewhere you can return it after 30 days; 2.) Download any available demo for sports games you like to compare the graphics to 360 counterparts; 3.) Get a blockbuster pass or some service where you can squeeze in 15-20 rentals within a 30-day period to test out the exclusives and the (inferior) cross-platform sports games.

I have both systems and prefer the 360 more. I bought the ps3 for the show as well and it is awesome. The sony exclusive games are pretty good too but i agree with you guys on the cross platform games, 360 is way better and seems more smooth. I also noticed that 360 has more options on Netflix which is kinda wierd. Also, I have yet to find a reliable online league for the Show and leagues are def. better on xbox

I have both and prefer the PS3 -- easier to do file transfers and upgrade the hard drive. Also, I have small hands and find the PS3 controller more user friendly. I don't play online much so paying extra for online (XBox360) isn't appealing. And you have to consider MLB The Show! The original XBox was a superior product to the PS2 but I think it's now a matter of preference and what's important to you.

I had both but sold my 360. This only benefit I think to the 360 is sports games, and in some situations online. With games like COD, you get maps and things like that first, but that's not a decision maker for me. When it comes to exculsive titles, PS3 is blowing 360 out of the water! Uncharted series, Heavenly sword, Heavy Rain, Metal Gear, Twisted Metal, The last of us (coming soon), God of War! Man there isn't even a comparision. What does Xbox have? Oh yea, halo. GOW. BBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! And last but not least, FREE ONLINE with PS3. Like I said, I had a 360 up until earlier this year. When it was time to chuck up another 60 bucks for online, I sold my 360. The only thing I miss about 360 is Nba 2k because sadly the PS3 versions always get dumped on. Get you a PS3 dude. Check out them games I mentioned. You won't be disappointed.

I also have both systems and I only play the Show on PS3 and everything else on my 360. I just enjoy the online so much more on my 360 and I'm willing to pay for my Live every year. If you can I'd just get a PS3 and keep your 360 as well.
